Cat Sass is Currently Located in Beautiful Salinas Puerto Rico. She has been with the same owners for over 30 years and its finally time to let this beautiful floating home go to a new owner, she is listed for $182,000 but all resonable offers are welcome. Cat Sass is an extremely strongly built boat with very solid design and rigging layout. She is very unique with her long narrow hulls and will point to wind very well. Another key feature about her rigging is the running back stays. Different then newer catamarans she is rigged more similarly to a Monohull. Another unique design feature on this vessel is her single diesel engine design. Cat Sass has two hydraulic outdrives that can be lowered into the water when she is ready to motor reducing any excess drag as well as eliminating the need for large holes in the hulls for sail drives as the hydraulic outdrives are lifted well clear of the waterline. Cat Sass is built from airex foam core and sandwhiched with two thick layers of hand laid glass. See the picture of the core sampling in the exterior photo album.
